Allin, Sixth Bishop of Mississippi, greets new vestry members of the Church of the Advent, Sumner, MS, 1970. Although their move to Mississippi was an unexpected turn in Allin's career, his family grew fond of the state and its people. Allin said that he and Ann always considered Mississippi their true home.
